I have one mother form called Person and a second form called Items. Each person can have multiple items and they wont to print out a label for each item. I have a label report that will indeed print out the items, however it prints out all the items. What I am curious if it is possible to print each item seprately while they are entering each item. Every item will have an item number. So I thought I would make that the criteria on the query. However, it is not picking up the item number from the form, Im not sure if it is because I have multiple items. Help me it you can???

Is the second form a subform or a separate form? Are you saving the record in the items table prior to attempting to print? How are you "making that the criteria on the query"?

The Items table is a subform. The records are not being saved should they? The criteria on the query are as follows:

[Forms]![frmProperty_Item]![Item_Number]

I dont know if I am going down the right path or if it is possible. Any help you can give will be helpful.

If the criteria is pulling a value from a control on a subform, you must use something like:
Forms!frmMain!sfrmName!form!ControlName
IE: if frmProperty_Item is a subform, your syntax won't work since frmProperty_Item isn't available. You have to start your syntax from the main form and then go down to the control. The builder [...] in query design view can help with this. Make sure you select open forms.
