I created a report with Crystal. I only have one column which is not too wide. If I print my report I get 17 pages. I wish to know if there is a way to make that column wrap, newspaper style. I would have 4 or 5 columns on each page consequently reducing the total amount of pages.
Thank you for your help!

Hi there

not sure if this is what you are looking for, but have you tried right clicking on the actualy field and bringing up the 'Format Field' option. On the common tab, click to select 'can grow'

To create newspaper style columns all you have to do is select 'Section' under 'Format', then click on 'Details' under the Section type. In the 'Common' tab, you will find a checkbox that says 'Format with Multiple Columns'. Check that box and a 'Layout' tab will appear where you can set the width and direction of your columns. Then in your design window, in the details section, just set up one column's worth of data. It will then automatically wrap your columns for you. Hope this helps.

Thank you very much to both of you. I will try this tomorrow at work and if all goes well I will be thinking of you :)
Have a lovely week!
