Can anyone tell me how hot a inkjet printhead can get or where I might find this information.

It shouldn't get hot at all, else it would evaporate and dry out the ink cartridge. Dot-matrix print heads get hot (friction of the impact pins), and laser printers use heat to "fix" the print, but inkjet should stay cool. Why the question?

Sublimation does not work on Canon or HP inkjet printers. These printers printheads head up the ink when they print thus beginning the sublimation process. Epson uses a peizo technology which is a cold print and thus does not activate the sublimation ink. I am doing some research on sublimation and the heat that Canon and HP give off. Any thoughts.
