Printers keep going in Windows 2000

Hi

I have a user who has Windows 2000 Pro on a Domain (Work pc).

Each day her printers disappear for no reason. If I stop and restart the print spooler on her pc they come back fine. Rebooting also works.

Things I have tried:

Removing and reinstalling all printers and printer drivers
Deleting all references to the printers in the registry.

I am totally stumped!

Does anyone have any ideas for me?

The issue could well be a combination of the wrong driver, and the wrong steps to clean them. See Bruce Sanderson MVP's excellent discussion of the issue:
