I have a Vista SP1 laptop that is part of a Win 2k8/2k3 domain. The Vista Laptop seems to run fine except for printers. Twice a day all my local and network printers disappear. I have no spool erros in the logs. A reboot resolves the issue. I have not been able to find much help on this issue. It is very frustrating.

Is there any significance in the times during the day that this occurs? Is it always at the same time?

What connections run between local printers and the laptop and networked printers? Is there a problem with the wired, wireless, or hardware along the path to the printers?

Have you tried uninstalling or deleting such printers and setting them up again?

I deploy network printers via GPO. I keep getting RSoP errors 4099 and 1091 in the Event log with GPO. I've searched high and low for this on goodle with no success. I think it is related to GPO somehow. And It's only Vista SP1. All XP SP3 Systems work fine.
