Printers Disappeared

Hi, 2003 DC server. We had about 10 printers on this server. They have all disappeared. The drivers are all still there in Server Properties but there is nothing to suggest anywhere that these printers ever existed...

Spooler etc was running fine..

Also nothing in the registry....

Any ideas?? Please help!

Go into c:\windows\system32\spool\printers

If there are any files in there delete them, then restart the print service, you should have all your printers back now.

Hi TidyTrax, did that before and just double checked again. There are no files at all in that location....

Gonko, you say the spooler is fine, but did you reset it though?

Hi, yes indeed. It's just like the printers never existed....
