Printer Spawn in Control Panel every start up 2

Every time I turn off my computer, and then turn in back on, the printer in the control panel goes off line and a new one is spawned. Now I have two, and the old one is the default and must be deleted and the new one made the new default.
Any ideas?

what OS r u running?

did you just buy and install this printer? Or did the the printer work fine and the problem just started one day?


Did you load any software that uses the printer or printer port?

Try downloading new drivers. also see if their is a Windows update.

In Explorer (not IE) Tools, Folder Options, View
Uncheck 'Automaticly search for network folders and printers'
