My wife's computer is linked to mine thru a Belkin wireless router. All was working fine until a few days ago when she coud not print any docs (or anything at all). I've tried removimg the printer & reinstalling it only to get the following message: 'There was an error writing to LPT 1 for the printer Epson Stylus C62 Series'. The printer is not ready. Make sure it is turned on and online. To continue printing, check retry. Checking retry gives me the same message. Link Quality & Signal Strength are both excellent and she's able to get online; she just can't print anything. The printer is connected to my PC. Any advice to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Hi Ed,
Well I tried one more attempt at regaining printing ability on my wife's PC. I completly uninstalled the printer from mine & deleted all the software associated with it. I even used Advanced mode on Revo Uninstaller to make sure I deleted all traces of it. I reconnected my printer to my PC & reinstalled the software. At the same time, I deleted the printer from my wife's computer. I then used the Network Set-up Wizard from Windows XP that I created on a floppy disk, ran the Netsetup app then added the driver for for my Epson printer. When all was done, it asked if I wanted to print a test page. I clicked yes & Voila! There was that same message saying, "There was an error writing to LPT1 for the printer Epson Sylus C62 Series. Make sure it is turned on and online". I haven't tried your latest suggestion. I think I neeed a break before I put my fist thru the monitor. If your idea doesn't work, I'll try setting it up on her PC & see if I can print from mine to hers.
I'll let you know how it goes.
I don't think it's a TCP/IP problem since we can share documents etc., just not printer.
Thanks once more!

Patience. These things sometimes take time.

My longest was 3 months of intermittent work.
My second longest was 5 weeks of daily work.

Percussive maintenance is counter productive.
