Printer problem

My reports are set up on landscape. When you call a print preview, they appear landscape on the screen. When you actually print them, they print portrait and then on the screen they have reverted to portrait, so I need to go into page setup and change to landscape before they print properly. Is this a Crystal problem or something else?

 
I am using Crystal Reports version 11. I am printing from within Crystal Reports - after calling a print preview, (which appears in landscape)I click on the printer icon. I have searched the link you recommended and I see similar problems posted with much earlier versions, but not 11.

any luck resolving this issue? We're on Crystal XI also and this problem had been sporadic until we moved our printers to a different server - now it happens on many of our reports.

(Problem being report changes from landscape to portrait when printed - on paper and screen).

Are you sure the default settings are not overriding whatever is set in the report?...If the same printer driver is not available on the Server, then the Server's default printer settings will be used to format the page for printing and it may be set to portrait.

thanks for the prompt response.
Default settings overriding is what was happening on the reports that are mis-behaving. No idea why it does it on some and not others though.

I have found a work-around for the problem which involves checking the "No Printer" box on the Page Setup dialog. This seems to correct the problem.
