My Okidata printer prints without me asking. It prints a line of junk, and then kicks the paper out. No ryhme or reason, no pattern to when it does it. WinXP is the O.S., updated drivers, etc. I've tried all the "easy" stuff. Not sure why it is doing it. Its a new printer, Okidata support is useless. Any suggestions?

Virus scan since it started?
Other printers OK on same port? Ed Fair

I am anal about virus and program updates, patches, etc. I tried the printer on another computer and it did NOT do it. My machines are all clean, and the drivers are right. I shut off the "Print in the Background" feature in Word (Office XP Pro) and it hasn't done it since YET. Am watching.
