I tried to upgrade my system from ME to Win 2K Pro and all went just fine. Then I found out that Win 2K refused to recognize that I had any printer ports. No matter what I tried I could not get them back. I have since moved back to Win 98. I even tried installing Win 98 then upgrade to 2K with the same result. Any ideas?

Go to Your BIOS set Printer port to Lpt1
use EEP Ver1.7
Ltp settings
ltp1 378
2 278
3 3bc
before you do this go to start menu
go setting next look for priner window
high light the printer click on it go into properties
look for a tab called ports make sure that Ltps is tick
make sure that you printer is turn on if you are using hp
sofware called toolbox dose not work under windows2000
some logitech keyboard have driver problems
