Printer Permissions/Access Denied, unable to connect 1

Hi there,

I have a very unusual problem, Running Windows 2000 Server, Print Driver is installed on Domain Controller, Users just browse network neighborhood to install the printer. When they do this, It will install the printer and it will print fine, however in the printer status, it displays Access Denied, Unable to Connect. This just started happening today, as we've had 2000 for about a year now and never had this problem.

Just stumbled across this today for the first time on a personal laptop running xp pro. It's a person's personal pc, but they brought it in and I configured it. It can see everything on the network, but it's access denied on the printers, even though he has a valid user account. Glen A. Johnson

When my user comes back in, I'll try what was on the link. It wouldn't surprise me that one of my admins disabled the account. I'll look at that today. This user quit, then came back as a consultant. (Probably for twice as much money, I should do this.) Thanks. Glen A. Johnson
