Here's the layout...

HP Network Printer
Win2k SP4, fully up to date

A new user was created on the domain as a basic domain user, but when whoever established local settings, they set the user as restricted. That has since been upgraded to Admin on the local machine only.

This user, when printing to the laser throughout the day, functions normally. At the end of the day, user signs off, leaving power on and goes home. Sometime during the evening, all the print jobs reappear and rerun.

To me it sounds like the user does not have authority to perform an operation on an object when logging off that would normally flush the queue (just a guess). Does anybody have any suggestions????

Thanks....

As a follow up, I tested with Admin and what appears to happen is that the print job gets logged in the queue as printed but never get flushed. It happened with whatever profile was logged on the individual PC. Manually deleting all print jobs removes them from the queue, but not sure why they are not removed when finished printing. The option to save documents after printing is not enabled.
