Hi,

I have a printer attached to a W2K Pro desktop. I've shared this printer.
HAving logged in as Admin at 5 other PCs in the same room I installed this printer at those PC's. Why is it then, that if a new user logs in the printer is not available? HOw can I make a printer available to anyone who logs in?

I may be incorrect, but I beleave unless it is installed as a local printer (LTP or Via TCP/IP port) then you will have to add the printer to each user who logs in to the pc's. However you could probly write a script that runs at logon. Then when a user logs on the script would automaticly add the printer.

Is the PC itself shared? If not, then maybe it should be...I had to do this in order to be able to have my PC's connect to the the printer that was connected to it....

Just a thought...
