Printer HP6mp 1

Hi,

I have connected HP 6MP printer to my aix machine. I tried to select HP 4+ drivers for it as it comes with os CD. When I try to print it prints towards the left most corner, doen't print to the middle of the paper.

Can someone help me.

Is the printer directly connected via the parallel port or is it networked. Have you tried adding the queue as a default printer? It sounds like you've chosen the nearest driver you can find and I've never had much success with this.

Hi,

It is connected via a parallel port. Now I tried with Hp 4, it chops the top of the page. I have play around with it.

I can't put it to default printer.

I have a lj6mp printer and i use the driver for the hp5 si Mopier without problem.
To put this queue as the default printer use the command:
/usr/lib/lpd/pio/etc/piochdfq -q queuename
