There is a thread I started about a strange problem I noticed on my brother's computer.
So far, no further replies were added.

Hi there,

I have just started to run into a similar problem. We have recently purchased 20 Dell GX280 computers. We have an image that we install and for the first 5 everything works fine, however all the others experience the Print Spooler service failing to start or stopping after 30 seconds of being started.

I spent a long time on the phone to Dell and Microsoft and there does seem to be some issue between the two. Microsofts answer is to format and reinstall and leave off SP2, dells answer is to rebuild from scrach and then install SP2 !!!!

If you have any further ideas please let me know.

This is not the same issue. I do not have any problem, because I do not have a problem with the spooler service. In fact, it was working fine all along.

I suggest you check the other thread I mentioned.
I will try to help you as much as I can.
