Printer emulation mode

We have a customer that has an Epson FX890 printer hooked to a Norstar 8X24. This printer is a replacement for the original and was hooked to the system straight from the box, apparently.

The customer says it prints some of the time, but is not printing all the time. The customer called and asked me what emulation mode the system needs the printer to be set at and I don't have a clue. Help!

It appears that you are using an SMDR? Check to see if your connection is good. Connect the SMDR to hyperterminal and just look at it consistently to see if your data is being pushed across the screen in live data. Then emulate your settings on the printer.
