Hello All,

we have had numerous probelms with blue screens, which we believe is caused by rogue printer drivers. We changed the printer driver used by the printer on the print server but the clients still on auto creation try to use the old printer driver any ideas?

spec:
metaframe xpe with lattest hotfix and sp1
windows 2000

I am also having this problem with the Xerox 220 Printer. The BSOD is displaying "x32psk.dll" as the culpruit. The thing that resolves this is to delete the driver and block the printer from being created using the Compatiblity Option in Printers (CMC). I've also seen MS KB papers stating certain Epson printers will have problems.

If you're using HP printers, perhaps you have a situation similar to ours - it was incompatability of client and server print drivers. Whenever a particular printer was accessed, the Citrix server disconnected everyone and the dreaded blue screen appeared on the console.
See an article on - under 'Support', enter search keywords 'overview' and 'laserjet printers' and 'terminal server'. Pay particular attention to 'Known Issues'.
finally have a day in which the Citrix servers haven't come down! Hope this helps.
