Can I use vb programming to ask the printer Panasonic KX1121 to rollback the paper, (feed the paper).

I try to print the label with continues paper like computer paper, I will not tear the label, just take the label out only. So, can I do it in VB??

Thanks

Bros,

Many printers utilize escape codes to facilitate feeding and reverse feeding paper. More commonly, you'll find these types of commands available on printers that use continuous paper feeds like rolls or fan folded tracter feed printers.

These codes vary from printer to printer, so you will need to check your documentation and possibly check with panasonic for the specific commands.

If available, you'll be sending raw strings to the printer using the following format:

open "lpt1" for output as #1 '(or freefile)
print #1, "ESC 127"
Print #1, "ESC &H01 200"
close #1 '(freefile)

These commands used above WILL NOT WORK... they are examples only.

Good luck!

Thank TheTuna and Shan, But still not solve my problem. The example just forward only not backward for rolling the paper. Can anyone help me??

Did you look into the escape codes for that specific printer model as I suggested? You've got the know-how as we provided, you just need to plug in the details, if they exist.

Check with Panasonic for the control codes.
