I have a small LAN setup with a Dlink 704 Router/Firewall/Switch, one PC runs 98SE and has my Lexmark Z32 printer connected to the USB port. The other PC is running Windows 2000 Pro and NO printer. On the W2K PC I can see the printer and it acts like it is printing to the Lexmark printer but nothing happens. I have tried everything I can think of, including reloading the drivers and software for the printer on both machines. I can access files from the W2k PC on the 98SE PC and see all devices.

Your help is greatly appreciated!

add your printer to your win2k machine and share it with 98 drivers. Your 2k machine cannot print off your 98 drivers.

Thank you, I will try in next few days and let you know outcome.
