Hello,
We have just brough a HP colour laserjet 3700. we have it installed on our net work with a static IP address and a print server unit. It seems to be working fine and we have a number of people connected to it but the jobs they print seem to be staying in the queue. Also when the person who we first installed the machine on shut down her PC and then turned it on again the printer printed all the jobs in the queue again. We have checked the spool settings and they all seem fine . we can delete the jobs manually but this is the only printer we have that is set up this way and has this problem, we have about 5 other makes and models which are all fine.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Thanks for Replying. I think I solved the problem yesterday, I found a posting on another forum that was in reply to a similar problem and it said the go into command promt and type "net stop spooler" and then "net start spooler". This seemed to fix the issue immediately although I don't claim to understand why. However I will definately download the new firmware. Thanks again!

Just an FYI - the net stop/net start just restarts the microsoft spooler service.
Like rebooting the computer would do, but without taking everything offline.

If the problem keeps happening, either a firmware or driver update is probably in order.
I've had a few where I've had to uninstall them before I could get them to work, and just figured something got messed up in the installation.
