Print Spooler keeps stopping

I am getting the following error on my Windows 2003 Print Server:

Event Category: (100)
Event ID: 1000
Description:
Faulting application spoolsv.exe, version 5.2.3790.0, faulting module msvcrt.dll, version 7.0.3790.0, fault address 0x00034e36

Every so often I would have to restart the print spooler service, especially when I use log onto the server remotely. Anybody has any clue what is causing this problem? I am stumped!!

A bit of xtra info: the server was recently upgraded from 2000 to 2003.
