Print Spooler Crash after Sp3 install.

This week has been terrible cause the print spooler on my main print server has crashed at least three times a day. It started roughly a week after i deployed sp3 on my servers, but the rate at which it crashes has increased to several times a day whitout any other changes. If someone has encountered this problem please respond.

not that particular error, but lots of people are havin trouble with SP3 - suggest you uninstall SP3 and reapply SP2...

We were experiencing problems with our print server crashing without sp3 on. We have 20-30 network printers on our LAN, some produing large print jobs. MS suggests that if you have a number of printers on the network to change the default settings in the print server settings.

Normally the spool files go to c:\winnt\system32\spool\PRINTERS this was causing us a problem because of the large print jobs and the c: drive was running out of space. We chucked in another hard drive and then changed the settings to point all spool files to a spool dir on that drive. It solved our problems and it doesn't crash any more.
