I'm running 2003 print servers but only using XP drivers. We are introducing Windows 7 32 and 64 bit to our environment now. Maybe a stupid question but drivers should I install on Windows 2003 server for Win 7 and XP to print. Normally you install drivers per OS, but happen if you are running a mixed OS environment?

You will need to have matching 32bit drivers named the same on the 32bit server to get them installed, otherwise you will need a second server running 64bit OS to host the 64bit print drivers.

I thought if I add the Win 7 64bit drivers on printer server for different printers this will be downward compatible. Are you suggesting it's best to use a second print server for Win 7 drivers?
