Hello,
I use Crystal Reports Developer version 9 in my custom application. I use the report preview and print features of Crystal.
Although the preview and print work well for every other client, I have one client that has a problem. This client is using Windows2000 Professional.
When the client initially logs on to my program, the client can preview a report, but when he tries to print, it appears to print, but never does print to the default network printer. If the client manually goes to the printer folder and selects a different network printer, the report will preview and print just fine. If the client then goes back to the printer folder and re-selects the original network printer, the report previews and prints just fine.
My question is: Why will the report not print the first time? Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Any suggestions on a fix?
Further info: This problem only occurs with my application and the Crystal runtime. If the client initially goes into Word, it prints just fine. Then, however, if the client goes into my application, the above occurs.
The client is using HP4050 and HP5000 network printers and has updated the drivers to their latest version.
Thanks,
TFISHER
