Print multiple emails

I'm not a Notes user, but I have to support a handful of them at work and I'm having some trouble. One of my users needs to print mulitple emails in the Inbox, when she checks them and clicks print, Notes closes without printing anything...
I logged back in, opened one, printed it, then went back and checked them all and clicked print and it worked fine. The problem is sporadic and doesn't come back with any errors. Anyone have any ideas?
The PC is running XPSP2, 512 MB Ram, the printer is connected locally.

do any of the emails have attachmemnts or HTML links?

No attachments, I'm sure some of them have links but I havn't personally opend each one to check.
