Is there a way to print an inventory of at least extension in use?

Have a customer with a large MICS and needs to know how many ports are open for digital extensions.

Thanks

go to maintenance, ports/dn, this will tell you all extensions ports and type of equipments hooked up to the ports.

You cannot print out a list, you could using NRU and a RAD however only if the tech game every ext in use a name but unreliable.

How do you print/view this info. from NRU.

maintenance would take forever, it's a 128 port system!

This is a sad, sad situation that Nortel doesn't seem to care about anymore. In days gone by, using NRU 2.0 on 8x24 and early R1T1 you could run inventor reports that told you exactly how many and what type of devices were installed on a system. You could actually run all kinds of reports from the backup file you saved from a system without having to be online with a system. I have not found a way to do it easily with the New and Improved software. Programming has become sloppy to get it out the door. IMHO

I didn't see an answer to my question in the last two posts, rather a conversation...

Does anyone know of a way to inventory an MICS short of viewing each and every port in the Maintenance menu?

I was told at some point the browser utility would allow you to export to a spreadsheet, however I didn't see an option for anything but viewing and changing....

Thanks,

Dave

they are probably referring to the offline tool - which is a Nortel macro in Excel.

Select customer in NRU, open and select workbook, and 'download'
