Print jobs stay in print queue saying "Sent to Printer"

I'm having an issue printing where the print jobs stay in the print queues for two of my printers.

Background Info:
Computer: Dell Inspiron 600M with Windows XP
Printer: HP LaserJet 4200 with HP JetDirect card
Network: Linksys Router

On the printer, I set a static IP. On the computer, I downloaded the driver, setup the printer using the Standard TCP/IP configuration.

When I print, the job stays in the queue saying "Sent to Printer". When I reboot it reprints all of the print jobs.

Any ideas? Thanks all.

I have the same exact problem with a dell and HP JetDirect 615n print server. Have you found any answer to this problem? Thanks,

Try using HP`s TCP/IP port driver (

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsuppor...27908&prodTypeId=13037&prodSeriesName=hp+in&)

that installs with HP Install Network Printer Wizard. Upgrading firmware both on printer and JetDirect might be needed too along with a driver update.
