A user pointed out to me that a document was stuck and she could not delete it. I went to the printer server and this print job is in a status of Deleting- Spooling I tried to delete it and it just will not go away, it is only 16 KB big. Has any one seen this problem before? How do I delete this job?

Thanks in advance, Scruby

I've had that occur and was able to flush it from the printer's buffer by turning the printer off for a few minutes. When it is powered back on, the job should be gone.

stop and restart your spooler service and it will go away

Thank both of you I have rebooted the server the document went away.

Scruby.

Next time restart the spooler service. Much faster than rebooting.

start/ settings / control panel / administrative tools / services / print spooler

From the desktop in question open up a cmd window and type
Net stop spooler [enter]
Net start spooler [enter]

I like the net stop/start command, that’s cool thanks, Scruby
