Hello,

can somebody tell me how I can print out the contents of an ipconfig /all command to an hp printer.

or can you export it to a txt file or something?

cheers.

jono

to export it in a command prompt type

ipconfig /all > afilename.txt

Ash.

You could also hit the print screen button while the results are up, then paste it into Word and print that.

just a guess but in my dos days this worked

ipconfig /all >print

Just another bit of trivia......

If you right click in the Title frame of the command prompt window....and go to edit, you can copy and paste any text in the window to notepad etc..

after you see the result of ipconfig, hold shift key and hit printscreen on your keyboard, then go to start >program>acceseries>paint, after you open the paint click on Edit> then > Paste
