Print (incl preview) does not show colour text

It must be blindingly obvious, but when I print preview an excel sheet with colour, it shows everything as black text, regardless.

..actually, I will keep this open for others but I have just seen why.

I never realised that the printer you have selected actually determines the output (foolishly!).

MCubitt - I get colours in Print Preview mode even when my printer is B&W. Go into File/Page Setup/Sheet, and make sure the Black And White box is not ticked.

Sorry, I did not make it clear that the printer I was selecting was a Post Script one, purely designed for prn to pdf conversion.

Also if you have to print quality set to draft it will remove the colour from the print preview screen.
I'm guessing that your postscript printer isn't set to draft quality where as your other is.
