Hi! I'm new in AIX, I need to print from AIX server to shared WinNT/2K printer. Trying samba2.2.1 included in "AIX
Toolbox for Linux" with such howto:

So far, it doesn't work for me - actually small files go to printer but
printer doesn't print them - it looks like they come there of zero size and
big files don't go at all - we are pushed into the samba prompt with output from such files...

I found that "AIX Connection" from connect.Bnd makes such
job but cann't find this bundle in my AIX installation CDs

Any suggestions will be helpfull.Thanks!

The alternative method is to install tcp/ip printing on the nt box and then just print to a remote host. Works great!

If your printer is supporting tcp/ip(can be ping from AIX) and supporting PCL printing. You can go through remote printing.

If your printer is a HP printer with HP JetDirect card, that will be even better. You can use Print Spooling->Add a print queue->hpJetDirect to configure, very direct and easy.
