print distinct email pages

Many of my emails go on for pages and I only need to print the first page. The problem is that when I click PRINT, the PRINT dialog box does not provide an opportunity to select individual pages, as would occur in a word document. Is there a way to print distinct pages? thanks.

open the email and click File Print then select the pages you want to print

the problem is that I don't see any options to select individual pages.

do not use the Print icon and the email must be opened.

also check your View Toolbars & make sure the Print functions are available

sorry, don't see it. I am using Outlook 2003 on XP. I open email, click File, click Print.

The print er dialog box appears. Not mention of specific pages, only number of copies.

what printer are you using?

Two different PC, one uses HP C6180 and other HP 1200 laserjet. Both have same printer options display when printing. No choice for individual pages.

As stated in earlier email, XP on numerous PCs. Do you have Outlook 2003 - and when you invoke print request, do you see option for printing individual pages. If so, what printer do you have?

Ok, figured it out. I created an email with about 100 lines. When I simply click on email subject, I get print dialogue box WITHOUT individual page option. However, when I open email in SEPARATE window for the same email, I get different printer dialogue box WITH individual page option. very strange. I never would have thought you could get two different printer dialogue box.

if the email is 1 page or less it will not give you the option you were looking for.
