I'm not really sure how to word my question, so I'll start with a little description of my database and the problem I am having.
The database was made to track all users on the network, their profile information (name, phone, address, etc.), their hardware information (processor speed, memory, model #, etc.), peripheral information (printers, scanners, digital cameras, etc.) and software applications they use beyond the standard load.
I am having trouble with a summary page report (rptSummaryPage). I want to print their profile information at the top, then list all of the software applications they use below. Some users may have only one or two, others may have a dozen or more. The tables are related through the email address. The query works fine, listing separate records for each application per user. However, the report wants to print a separate page, complete with user profile information at the top, for each application. I want all software applications listed on one page (or spilling on to several depending on the number of applications).
Hope that makes sense. I can visualize it, but am having a hard time putting it in words....especially to someone not looking at the database.
Any assistance would be most appreciated!! I've posted a problem before and got terrfic advise, thanks!!!

Do you still want help with this report problem?

If you send a copy of your db with what you have so far I would happily take a look.

I think you need to look at 'Sorting and Grouping' and not use the report and page headers, also I get the feeling you are forcing new pages before or after each detail.

Hi Matthew,
Thanks for your reply. I finally figured it out and it is working fine. I put the user profile stuff in the header and sorted by email address, then listed the software in the detail section. I am not exactly sure how I got it to work, so I can't really expalin it or do it again....but the fact that it is working is what's important now. It is good to know there is such a great resource like tek-tips.com and helpful people like you out there to help. I really appreciate your response to my question.
Have a great day,
Michelle
