In Word 2002 running on an XP Pro system, is there any way to print every document in a specific folder, short of opening each one and printing? Of course, each doc needs to maintain its formatting, etc. Is there a feature of the system to do this or should we find someone to write a program? Thanks for any suggestions.

I don't know if there is a quicker way but you can do it like this:

* Open the folder in Windows Explorer
* Select all the documents
* Right-click on one of the selected documents and select PRINT

Word will load each one and print them out. I don't have many special print function on my documents but I'm fairly sure that, since the print settings are saved in the document, Word will print them appropriately. Hope this helps.

Thanks, sometimes the obvious solutions are overlooked, but you got me pointed in the right direction. In addition (actually before) to doing what you said, I need to set my default printer, etc. In my environment, I have a small local printer (defaulted) for single pages or proofs, and then there are network printers for large runs. Thanks again, it works!
