ok but how can I do that? I tried it but if I make it higher it makes my detail section higher also and doesn't allow me to put the half (for example) of my field in the next section.
Thank you.

Hi
insert your field in the detail section
click on field -> format -> Common
there you will see Text rotation select the drop box and pick the rotation of your text 270 degree

Oh, I already did that. The thing that I want is to be able to see this field from the page header to the page footer.

ok how big do you see it now?
check in the selection in the format can grow and line equal to 1

Oh
you might have to change the size of the font

cheers

The thing is that they need to see it big. So my font is 24 and I'm almost sure that it's not big enough.

hi change to 72
if not big enough just type a number in the font size and see what happens

No the problem is not the size. It's just that I think that the customer will what it bigger but anyway...
I'm not able to put it in two section
for example (my field is the field that I want to put in 3 section. The caption of this field is the value of it)

page header section m
y

detail section f
i
e
l
page footer section d

-----------------------------------------------------
and for example if the myfield value is only "field"
-----------------------------------------------------
page header section f
i
e
detail section l
d

page footer section

the letter should be strait down. Sorry about that

hi
just send sample at your email address

cheers

For peoples that search the same things as me. pgtek told me to create as many formula field as section that I want and use the mid function
For example:
Mid ({mods_rpt_certificateAnalysis5;1.uf_chemical_code},1 , 5)
Thank you to pgtek.

You could place the rotated text in its own Page Header a section and set that section to Underlay Following Sections.

I tried it but it seems like it changes nothing. Maybe I'm doing something wrong here.
I have 4 header section, I added one as you told me that this fields should have its own section. I put my field in the new section. I put this section as Underlay Following section. But my field still display only a part of the field.

For example, it display "Chemic" as the value is "ChemicalCode".
Does the "underlay following section" is supposed to allow my field to continue on the next section?

Thanks in advance
Do I have to
