You do not mention why you need this information but I assume that you are looking at training yourself in one or the other (PRINCE2 or PMBoK).
The key point is that comparing P2 and PMBoK (PMI is the organisation) as manuals (which each are) is like comparing apples to oranges . That is to say PRINCE2 is a Project Management Methodology, and the PMBoK is a recommended guide to Project Management, these are not the same things. PMBoK is not a methodology, in fact it refers to the use of PM methodologies as seperate skills/tools to that which skills the PMBoK covers.
