what is the error when i am trying to login to domain but sometimes it allows me to log while sometimes dont. the error is something like the primary domain account of computer is missing...

you can use the NETDOM command from the Resource Kit with the /joindomain switch to re-establish the trust between the machine and the Domain...
have you used the tool before?

not yet. but why is it sometimes it allows sometimes not. anyway is there anything i can do like unjoin then rejoin to domain or whatever rather than use the kit?

tnx

Yes, log on to the local machine, remove the machine from the domain and log on to a local workgroup. The reboot, logon and change it back to the domain.
This is just the long way around. I was going to suggest this as first, but the NETDOM works a lot quicker. The syntax can be a bit tricky for first time use though...
give the long way a bash...it has worked for me before...
