Primary Disk become unallocated and loosing boot system

My Windows XP suddenly crash and after i restarted it i got 'NON SYSTEM DISK / DISK BOOT FAILURE...' something like that. I tried to diagnosed the disk with partition magic and it detected as Unallocated partition. How to restroe it? I have a lot of important files on it so how to restore all the data?
is there any software that can restore data from formatted disk ?

Have you tried "NTFS Reader", yet..?
I found the article on 'How to' column from the pc world websites.

You can browse and download the file "ntfs reader' and be sure how to do it.
