PRI with V8 switch?

I've got a client with an older (V8) switch looking to bring in a PRI.

Was PRI supported on that software release (I know with V6 it was with additional RTU).

Any other gotchas I might need to know?
 
It always has been RTU. Look at "disp sys cust" and see if "ISDN PRI" is set to YES.

Just wonder Avaya will turn it up as the PBX is officially end of life support from Avaya. I am on same boat with ver 9 G3si.
 
The ISDN-PRI is set to N. We're trying to find out if this is something we can get turned on, but I'm not holding my breath as I believe it's out of life.....
