I have an external server connected to my system using a PRI trunk group and a TN464. The ports are all in service. I can test a call from the external server to my phone.

How do I send a call to that trunk group from my phone? On a CO trunk you can just give it an extension. Can someone help me with setting an extension to go to this PRI trunk? Thanks in advance!

Find an available extension.

change uniform xxxxx (available extension)

set your extension length etc, insert digits if you want (not usually necessary though), for NET make it AAR

change route xxx (new route pattern using your new PRI trunk)

change aar ana xxxxx (your extension)

Point to your new route pattern number and set the Call type to AAR.

Dial the extension, should route to the new trunk.

Awesome! Thanks! That worked.
