We are having an issue with CLID not passing through if a call progresses through the following method:
*** No Originating # Passed per LD 80 TRAD if...
Caller 612-555-0000 -> ISDN PRI Trunk -> Meridian Mail AA -> Ext 123 -> CFW to Outside cell phone # over same PRI trunk = NO CLID
*** Originating # Passed per LD 80 TRAD if...
Caller 612-555-0000 -> ISDN PRI Trunk -> Ext 123 -> CFW to Outside cell phone # over same PRI trunk = CLID 612-555-0000
Henceforth in summary:
It seems that when a call passes through Meridian Mail, transferred to DN with hard CFW to an external number, the CLID info is not passed.
If call goes directly to DN with hard CFW to external number, CLID information is passed correctly.
And if call still passes through Meridian Mail, transferred to DN w/o CFW to an an external number, the CLID info shows up properly.
We've suspected and looked into the below to no avail:
- Meridian Mail stripping digits? Incorrect RDB/ADAN configs? Not possible because the CLID info is intact as long as the set does not CFW to an outside trunk again.
- RDR having the wrong CLS? We tried both CFO and CFD and it makes no difference.
Does anybody have any ideas?
