quick question hopfully someone can answer for me. I'm turning up a truck group with 6 T-1's using a Primary d-channel and a backup D-channel. both D-channels sync and run fine, however the B-channels on the backup T-1 won't recieve calls. qwest says they don't know what the problem is and i see nothing in the programing that cause this to occur. i've used different hardware and rebuilt from scratch the trks route and d-channels. anyone have any ideas? here is a copy of the programing for your review.

FYI the programing was NI2 so we changed it to D-100 to if we could fix the problem, but it still acts the same way.

Thanks,

Do a STAT DCH in LD 96

Do a STAT in LD 60

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

This is probably a stretch, but I got burned on a similar scenario once before. Check the PRI Interface ID for that T1 and make sure Qwest has it set to 1. In the PBX, the backup d is always 1 and the primary d is always 0, but the CO can actually configure whatever number it wants. If those numbers don't match, the BCHs won't come up.

Good Luck
Rob

acewarlock i'll post the results this evening. teekow i'll verify with qwest today and see what they have set. thanks for the info.

both t's are in the same route? did you dis msdl x all and enl msdl fdl? that writes the code to the card.. quest should be able to direct access the second did and send any digits you request.. you can disable all the b's on the 1st pri and enl msgi x on the d to see if they are sending the call..

ld 60
dsch x x for each channel then

ld 96
enl msgi 6.. the backup should never be in the picture
