Ok I need some help, I have a point to point PRI from an Option 11C (host) to a Shurtel (remote). It is up and running I can call from the 11 to the Shurtel using my CDP and back to the Option from the Shurtel and everything works fine. My problem is they have a T1 to the outside world coming into the Opt 11 with some DID numbers that I need to go directly to the remote side. I’ve tried using the IDC and convert to my CDP numbers but when I call in the call goes to AA and never tries to go to the Shurtel. I know I’m receiving the correct info from Telco because I can point the numbers anywhere I want in the Opt 11 using the IDC table. But as soon as I tri to get them to go across the PRI that’s when mail answers.

Have you checked the TARGs/TGARs for the routes involved?

Can you just use CDP's for those DID's, scratch the IDC table, and point those CDP's to your remote route?

that's a good point, the targs can't match on the inbound route and the tie.. the ncos of the inbound route had to be high enough to make a call to the dsc. if you dial the dsc from a set and it works, then the idc will be all you need once you have those two points looked at.. that is one reason i put tie routes in targ x1. by default trunk to trunk is blocked

pbxn I tried that
crowd & john I have the TGAR set to 0 (or none) but when I ort the RDB it will not show the NCOS. Now if I go and make changes the NCOS prombt is there but when I prt it don't show it. Any other way to see it or should I just change them both to 0?

The only real differance between your programming and mine, is your TARGS match, mine do not. Not sure if that is the fix or not but maybe worth a try

the trunk has the ncos and targ 0 matches targ 0.. perm block. do a chg of the rdb and x0

john I'm lost my RDB has nothing for TARG

that's good, nothing is not a block. couple of things to check.. RCLS EXT.. quote from your FLEXGROW tie.. that makes it an external route. a different set of rules apply to external routes.. remove the idc entry from your bs route. just the entry you need to test.. 1st forward your set to that dn and call it external then from external.. let us know how that test came out..

john I'm on the same page as you, I just fwd a phone on the Nortel to the remote and call into the DID # of that phone and it went to the remote.

Update: Ok I can build the DID # as an ACD and NCFW it to the remote and that works. For whatever reason I just can nopt use the IDC table, maybe it's not possible?

I used phantom TN's and default call forward. Here is a brief description. If you need more info let me know.

If you prt the cfn in ld22 you should see something like the following under CEQU:

SUPL 000 004 008 012
016 032 036 040
044 048 064 068
072 P096
TDS 000
CONF 029 030 031 062

DLOP NUM DCH FRM TMDI LCMT YALM T1TE TRSH
TRK 01 24 ESF NO B8S FDL - 01
02 24 ESF NO B8S FDL - 01

Notice the "P" in front of 096 that means this superloop is a phantom loop. That makes cards 61, 62, 63 (and I think 64) available. Here is a sample TN that is used.

Other TN's would be 61 1, 61 2, etc., to 61 15. Then go to 62 0, 62 1, etc.

The DN is what makes the internal (to the Nortel) work. The FTR DCFW is a "default call forward". In the case of what I did on this switch, 8 is set as "AC2" in BARS that routes calls over the point to point. Then 2158 is outpulsed to my other switch and it works!!

Thanks, I got it working with the DSC and IDC table. Take a look at my other post "PRI point to point and Option 11c (part 2)" Thanks agin
