Just installed a new 406v2 with a PRI card, I can tell the D and all the B channels are up, Inbound works no problem, but when we try to dial out we get the Waiting for Line with the beeps, All the lines are in group id 0 and the shortcodes and ARS is all default. Any Ideas on what i am missing?
 
So PRI line have OLG 0.

System shortcodes go to

Feat DIAL
LG 50 Main.

In Main you have some thing for dialling out.

Pref

Has the line provider bought the PRI into service right and took the outgoing bar off.

Should it be Main???? Main shows as ARS Route ID 51

sounds like maybe you have POTS lines and PRi in same outgoing group. Make sure they are different
 
mine is obviously UK based dial out plan

No POTS line card, just the PRI and one IP Trunk set for ID 15
 
I'm having a hard time figuring out where my trace should start and stop so i dont give you a bunch of xtra stuff..

I just noticed however - from sys monitor - status US PRI trunks they are not green squares - they are yellow rectangle = unknown

Crazy that inbound works okay..
 
Just start a fresh monitor trace, make an out ward call, stop the trace.

OKAY.... It is a fractional PRI, nobody told me.. took the channels not is use out of service and viola
