I have a PRI with all channels in lockout...
loop reports as good, and nothing else has changed...
any suggestions?

restart the channels?

Marc D.

If Bill Gates had a nickel for every time Windows crashed... Oh wait, he does...

LD 60
dsch (loop) (channel)
ench (loop) (channel)

If they keep going in lock out it could be the other end of the PRI.

Have you checked the staus of the DCH in LD 96? Most of the time PRI channels go into LCKO its down to a DCH issue.

STAT DCH

found this in ld 96...
OVL000
>ld 96
DCH000
.stat dch
DCH 010 : DSBL RST AUTO
DCH 014 : OPER EST ACTV AUTO PRIM 015 DES : PRIMARY_DCH
DCH 015 : OPER EST STBY AUTO BKUP 014 DES : PRIMARY_DCH
.enl auto 10
.stat dch
DCH 010 : DSBL RST AUTO
DCH 014 : OPER EST ACTV AUTO PRIM 015 DES : PRIMARY_DCH
DCH 015 : OPER EST STBY AUTO BKUP 014 DES : PRIMARY_DCH
.

am i missing a command?
thx all...

correction...dch 10 was on an old tie circuit that is long gone...
loop 6 rides on the primary dch...

if you STAT the Channels in LD 60 it will show you which DCH is associated with the Channels going into LCKO.

Have you tried LD 96 DIS DCH X, LD 60 DISL Y, ENLL Y (This should bring up Loop(Channels) and DCH in one go)

Put a loopback plug on the cable and see what happens. It should come up rls wrong mode if the hardware is good. If it is an ni2 interface it may not come up rls wrong mode.

What dchannel is assigned to loop 6. Is it a backup dchannel or a primary?

.stat dch
DCH 010 : DSBL RST AUTO
DCH 014 : OPER EST ACTV AUTO PRIM 015 DES : PRIMARY_DCH
DCH 015 : OPER EST STBY AUTO BKUP 014 DES : PRIMARY_DCH

More info is needed for this. If these points are in play with your switch then they are also in play with the pri provider.

Lockout is due to the fact that your switch is unable to talk to the provider correctly.

Hi everybody, first thing you have to do:
ld 96 dis dch x
ld 60 disl x
ld 60 enll x

then stat x for to see all channel in that T1.
