PRI Downgrade !!!NEED HELP!!!! 1

T1/PRI Card
Fiber Combo Cartridge 6-port/service
3 Modular (0X16)
Call Pilot 150

-Current system uses a full PRI, Everything works fine no issues.
-There are 80 DIDs set up so everyone can receive direct calls and they all have their own individual phone number.
-All users can make outside local calls.
-Some users are allowed to make long distance and International calls.

THE QUESTION:
The PRI will be downgrade it to 12 channels.
What needs to be done so the system keeps working the same exact way?
If the downgrade is done and we do not change any configurations, what will be the impact?
The more details I get the better....

Go to maintenance and disable the unsed B channels

Its not quite that simple...............

You also have to go into Maintenance - Link Status and change the unused B channels status to "near"

If you don't, you will be getting dead air when you try to dial out.

I'm assuming that you are simply decreasing the number of active channels, but remaining PRI.

If you are downgrading to a plain vanilla T-1, there are quite a few more things that would need to be done.
