I have a nortel system that we are trying to dial out on a new PRI. Carrier is saying that our system is not sending all digits out. It's dropping the last 3 of a 10 digit number. Any ideas how to correct this?

Also, the onsite tech says he gets dial tone after dialing the number he wants to call.

Look in your dialing plan and make sure your digits are set to 10 the default is 7.

Ok, got the outbound issue corrected, now the inbound is having issues. We ported the numbers to the new PRI and when I dial a number, I get a dial tone on my end.

what software level are you at? The reason is because up until the last MR of 6.1 there were issues with PRI's.

Confirm number of digits telco is sending.
Confirm number of digits you are receiving.
Confirm target line received numbers.
Add a valid prime set to the PRI lines.

turn off answer w/ disa and make sure lines are set to auto answer and you have assigned target lines.

If the received number matches the Auto DN, the call will be answered with system dial tone. You can check the Auto DN setting:

System Programming > Access Codes > Auto DN.

The value should be set to None.
