Pri Clocking 3

On a cs1000e rls 5.0 HA system, If I must add a pri tie ckt can I use the same clock as I have in the mgc1 where the tie ckt is in mgc5? I will be using tmdi cards for both circuits.

No, each MGC must have its own Clock Controller, this is becauses clocking is NOT passed between MGCs as the connection is IP.

I thank all of you for your gracious comments. After much reading of the manual I was finally able to set the ckt to ext clock. This seems to be working most properly. I will not have to request a clock card which my superior will like.


I could not find RTFM in load 73.
I would like to give bigindian a star and also this ROFLMAO.
