PRI Card FLASH RAM recovery

Any truth to this? I had someone tell me today that by using the recovery files that an MC269AA could be flashed with the image for an MC270AA and vice versa and thereby take on the functional attributes of the opposite card?

If so that would sure be nice as I'm sitting on 20+ MC269AA cards (E1-PRI) that presently are of no use to me. Thanks.
